Last With
Passion show ever. - 8.30.2007
Sept. 22 is planned to
be the last show we ever play as With Passion. We have been struggling to keep
afloat in the business side of music for at least 2 years now. We had high hopes
that our new album would pull us out of that struggle, but instead our album
was released with less than expected promotion and distribution and we ended
up unable to even get on the road to support it. It simply seems ridiculous
for us to continue on under this name since, as many of you have noticed, the
last original member, Mike Nordeen (bass), departed the line up about three
months ago to go onto bigger and better things with The Human Abstract. Many
of you are fans of our other/previous band Conducting From The Grave. John,
Greg, and I have decided that we should continue again as CFTG and Steven, whom
replaced Mike for the last two tours will be joining us on bass. Former vocalist
of CFTG, Drew, will be completing the line-up for the band. Fidel will be returning
to vocal duties in his previous band, Cyanide Era. We are now writing new material
for Conducting From The Grave that should be posted online within the next couple
months. We all believe that this decision is in our best interest as musicians
and in our fans' best interest as well. We appreciate all of your support and
we hope that all of you will continue to support us in these other musical projects.
It's been good times and we appreciate all the support anyone has given to us
and any previous line up of this band, and we hope to see as many of you at
our last show as possible.

New Album Out March 20.
-12.12.2006
We finished tracking our new album
almost two months ago, and we are very anxious to put some new stuff online
for you all to hear, however we are still waiting to get a mastered copy back.
In the meantime, our label, Earache Records, has posted a track on their mp3
player on their website. This track isn't the actual mastered version, (it was
just ran through a template) so the final version will sound better. Once we
get the final version we will be posting a few songs for everyone to hear, but
for now go to www.earache.com www.earache.com
scroll down to track 19 on the mp3 player and check out "Pale Horse's Ride."
This track will be on our debut full length "What We See When We Shut Our
Eyes" which is due to hit stores March 20th 2007. The CD clocks in at about
52 minutes and the tracklisting is as follows:
1. Pale Horse's Ride
2. Through the Smoke Lies a Path
3. What We See When We Shut Our Eyes
4. Triumph Over Tragedy
5. Tales of Sirens
6. Encryption
7. RJ MacReady
8. Forgotten Amongst Screams
9. Vengeance in Departure
10. A Road for the Worthy
Thanks so much to everyone who has supported us through everything over the
last 4 years, we are very excited to get on the road next year and start playing
all our new material for you.
Recording Update.
-10.12.2006
We have immersed ourselves in Mana
Recording Studios for our forthcoming album, "What We See When We Shut
Our Eyes." This album will include re-recorded versions of Vengeance In
Departure and Encryption. The new album will also include guest vocals by Guy
Kozowyk of The Red Chord. The full length is due out in February 2007 and we
plan on hitting the road in full support of this album! We are more than excited
about how well this album is coming along and we can't wait to share it with
you all! For more details on this and other current news, please go to the Earache
site!
Recording Plans.
-09.17.2006
After many months of intense writing
we are now slated to go in and record at Mana Studios in Tampa Florida with
Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal, Morbid Angel) in October. We are insanely excited
to be working with the man behind the production of such albums as Into the
Moat's "The Design", Cannibal Corpse's "Kill", Soilent Green's
"Confrontation", and many other great metal recordings. The album
will have 10 tracks, including re-recorded versions of Encryption and Vengeance
in Departure. It should be released around March or April of next year. We plan
on touring extensively during 2007 to support this release, so we will definately
be rolling through a city near you soon.
Writing
for a New Album. -03.20.2006
We returned home from the tour with
Nile, Hypocrisy, Soilent Green, Raging Speedhorn, and Decapitiated about a month
ago. The tour was a blast. Thank you to any fans who came out to the shows to
show support and to anyone who helped us out along the way. We won't be on the
road again until after we record our debut full-length mid-to-late this year.
We are currently hard at work writing new material for the album. In the meantime
we are still playing occasional local shows.
We're
Back!! -01.02.2006
The long wait is over, and we are
back out of hiatus! With Passion and Conducting From The Grave have joined together
as one band! Please welcome Greg, Jeff and John! We have spent the last couple
months practicing for this tour and writing new material. We will be performing
two new songs at every upcoming show that are now posted. We are on the road
next week with Nile, Hypocrisy, Soilent Green, Decapitated, and Raging Speedhorn.
We have some local shows before the Nile tour with some friends of ours! All
tour dates and show info as far as we have has been posted. Conducting From
The Grave will be playing one more show with vocalist Drew Winter. This may
possibly be your last opportunity to see Conducting From The Grave as they will
be going on an indefinite break. We may throw some songs from Conducting's "Trials
of the Forsaken" EP into our set. Thank you to everyone for sticking with
us. We apologize for the lack of updates and info; we just really wanted to
surprise you with the good news!
